Who we are?

In the early 90th we grew up in front of the television and on the football fields. One show always stood out more than any other for us. The 1980s Japanese Anime Ganbare Kickers! ( がんばれ!キッカーズ). Growing up in a small town ourselves we understood young Daichi Kakeru (大地翔) the hero of the show. Even though it only consisted of 26 episodes (originally aired from 1986-1988 in Japan and from 1988 in Europe), Ganbare, Kickers was a steadfast of our youth and we talked about it for many years to come.  Ganbare Club is deeply rooted in the aesthetics of the 80th and 90th Japanese anime, friendship and football. With Ganbare Club we want to bring the feeling back we remember watching Kakeru forming a team and beating the odds. We always went out right after reenacting what we had seen.  So go out and play! Ganbare translates to “let’s go!”, we cheer for you whatever you want to do!
